http://farmingtonvalleyfilm.org/events.html Here’s a link to the film screening in CT. on July 22 in Collinsville. This is a small film festival dedicated to acknowledging CT film making talent. Jeff Frez Albrecht the narrator for the film also did the sound mix for the film. His contributions were valuable to pulling together a professional and beautifully done audio score. He’s a CT. man who has worked on impressive films for Brian Keene, including many of Ric Burns films. He’s a professional and fortunate find for the film and he clearly loves to support the cause of America’s wild horses and burros.
New Hope Film Festival in New Hope PA. shows the film a 6:00 PM Wed. Jul 13 at the New Hope Arts Center. I’ve heard New Hope is a charming place to visit with a culture of art through out. I wish I could go. Please if you go, rate the film on the website and fill out whatever forms the film festival gives you. This is one good way to spread word to help find more advocates to help the wild horses. http://nhff.slated.com/2011/films/wildhorsesinwindsofchange_maralegrand_nhff2011
Colorado Horse Rescue will show the film on Saturday, July 23rd at 7:00pm. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for tickets and more information.
I filmed at CHR in the early stages of making the film. From the time spent there I spun a video and posted it to youtube. You can see it quickly by going to View Movies in the menu of this web-site. Scroll to Colorado Horse Rescue: A Mustang Story and enjoy this clip that did not make the final cut of the film.
